Today, George, Paul, (3rd generation) Bill, David, Kevin (4th generation) and Evan (5th generation) all work together to grow 400 acres of fresh market, hand harvested, vegetables and greenhouse annual rooted liners sold through broker programs nationally and a locally marketed finished flower crop. Zittel’s consider themselves to be good stewards of the land and incorporate management practices consistent with sustainability and good environmental practices. Our newly built high-tech greenhouse facility, strong management practices, and use of biologicals produce a well-toned, high quality rooted liner - ensuring a successful start to your finished crop. Our own temperature-controlled grower trucks and sprinter van deliver to your location in the Northeast, Great Lakes, and Mid-Atlantic regions, stretching as far as south as Virginia and Kentucky, west to Indiana, north to Wisconsin, Michigan and Maine.
