Carranza F 1 High-performance ancho chili pepper is excellent for drying. Large, wide fruits start out green and are very striking. Semi-open foliage covers the fruits to protect against damage by the sun, making it excellent in high temperatures. NEW Corsario Dark green, glossy poblano; produces heavy fruit. High percentage of 2-lobed fruit. A strong plant with good disease resistance. Fruit matures to a rich chocolate color. Obsidiana Traditional heart-shaped poblano/ ancho with strong pungency, 1,800 to 2,000 Scovilles and a wonderful, clean flavor. High- yielding plants produce a large percentage of two-lobe, large, heavy fruits with broad shoulders and thick, smooth walls. Good setting under cool conditions; excellent setting under hot conditions. Sargento F 1 Extra-large fruited ancho/ poblano with very good quality. Mid-long, tapered, firm and straight peppers on vigorous plants. Suited for multiple harvests with the ability to maintain fruit size. Use fresh or dried. 350-1,750 Scovilles. Intermediate resistance to root-knot. Trident F 1 Extra-large, 4.5 to 5.5-oz. (128 to 156-g), glossy peppers are firm and straight with a high percentage of 2-lobed fruit. Good for fresh and dried use. Plants have good vigor and continuous setting, and perform well in a wide range of soils and climates.

Aleppo Aleppo peppers have a sweet taste with a nice kick of heat on the back end. This very thin-skinned and thin-walled pepper is native to Syria and Turkey. Mainly used dried or crushed. The taste is slightly smoky, salty, sweet and warming, with the heat of 10,000 Scovilles. Alter Ego Hot but sweet, this naturally dwarf plant is great for small spaces and the patio. Upward- facing fruit. 30,000-40,000 Scovilles. Foliage stays green and healthy, even with ripe fruit. Arapaho F 1 High yields of early maturing fruit on a compact plant. Can be harvested 10 days to two weeks earlier than most standard varieties on the market with no sacrifice in fruit quality. Pungent, with great cayenne aroma. Attractive and delicious, both sweet and moderately hot. Excellent for frying and in salsas. Medium-large plant, formerly known as ‘Cheyenne.’ Plant habit is compact and vigorous.
