Intense lime green leaves, controlled and mounded shape, and pollenless heads make this variety shine in the store, and outdoors in landscapes and mixed or mono containers. Seed can be direct-sown into finish containers. Well suited to pot sizes up to gallons, with a fast finish time. The most compact of the varieties we offer. NOTE: Requires warmer temperatures than other millets to perform well.
Purple Baron F 1 PanAmerican Seed ®
This compact yet robust variety grows to about two-thirds the height of Purple Majesty, with large, thick flower spikes on plants with more basal branching. The foliage emerges and grows like Purple Majesty, finishing a slightly darker purple color at maturity. Leaves are shorter and wider for easy shipping.
