Minimum Per Shipment is 600 plants. If it is necessary to order less than 600 plants per shipment, a $12 charge will be applied. We define “Late Orders” as those orders that we receive any day of the week prior to the shipping week. It also includes those received by noon on Monday of the actual ship week. We do not charge a “Below minimum charge” on these orders. Any product additions or a change to the Ship Via to existing orders must happen by the Wednesday prior to the ship week. No cancellations after the product has been stuck. Box charges apply only when packaging is needed. Example, trays that travel on shipping carts on our trucks will have no box charge. Trays that require packing for pick-ups, will have a box charge. We pack according to our best knowledge of the weather conditions during transit. There is no extra charge for “winter pack.” a) “26-Count Tray” - Grown as 26, ordered and invoiced at 26, includes most Perennials and House Plants. b) “Strip Tray 52” - Grown as 52, ordered and invoiced at 52. c) “Super Cell 50” - This tray has extra large cells, is ordered and invoiced at 50. d) “32-Count Tray” is our largest cell. Helleborus and Caladiums are grown in these trays. e) “17-Count Strips” for the Novelty House Plants. e) All other items (other than some collections) are rooted in “51-Count Trays” and billed as 50. Tags are optional. Most are “Pixie” style tags. Some varieties such as perennials will have larger, “Portrait” style tags and will be priced accordingly. We only offer a 1:1 tag ratio.

Grower truck delivery is subject to total order volume to each zone. Please allow for flexibility of delivery week based on delivery capacity to each zone. Areas outside of designated truck routes may be created as needed, based on volume.

Royalties are included in the price where applicable. Airfreight - From Manchester, NH, via Southwest. Courier - FedEx Grower See map and schedule at right. Be advised Truck- that all truck schedules are subject to adequate volume per area per week. Pick up - Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4PM Please call one week ahead to reserve a pick up time. The following brokers carry our products: Ball ColorLink, Ball Seed Co., Eason Horticultural Resources, Express Seed, Joseph Giannino Co., McHutchison & Vaughan’s, Henry Michell Co., Park Seed Co., Griffin, Messick, and BFG Supply Co.

Cole Growers’ Certifications: -MPS ABC: This certification helps us monitor and make adjustments to our inputs to reduce our environmental impact. Our score tells us when we are improving and in which categories we may be doing better or may need to improve. -USDA GAP (Good Agricultural Practices): This certifi- cate is achieved and audited yearly. Practices include the safe handling of crops and worker hygiene. -SANC (Systems Approach to Nursery Certification): This ensures that a producer is using a holistic approach to reduce pest risks associated with plant trade. It is a new program initiated by the National Plant Board to pro- vide a producer the ability to transport plants through- out all of the United States under its umbrella.

Warranty:

D.S. Cole Growers, Inc., warrants to the extent of the purchase price that all products, whether from cuttings or seed, are sold true to name and shall conform within recognized tolerances. No further warranty is expressed or implied as to future marketability. Purchaser shall be limited to the invoice value at the time of purchase of any D.S. Cole Growers, Inc., product as its exclusive remedy to breach of warranty. All claims must be submitted to your broker within 48 hours of receipt of product. This includes quality claims as well as freight and mishandling issues. It is important to provide photos of the plants if there are problems. This helps us all understand the issue. If in effect, tariffs will be billed as a separate line item.
